So it should come as no surprise that his brand-new handbag line is also garnering attention from savvy hipsters and socialites. “Our debut collection is the result of two years of development and experimentation,” says the designer. “We considered the bags’ design and construction in the same way that we do our jewelry.” Each of the seven bags showcases Borgo’s sleek and unique aesthetic, as evidenced by aluminum hardware details and unexpected colors, such as rich evergreen and frost, a moody dove gray.
